Make Sure that you Thrive in Uncertain Times

“The importance of self reliance”

As a society we have gotten away from being self-sufficient. Even in a metropolitan setting, with a little planning food sources could be abundant.

In a sub-urban setting, there is even more potential. Forget water intensive lawns and turn them into productive vegetable gardens.

The current ideas of permaculture deserve a closer look. In the not-so-long-ago past having your own garden was a common practice. (Think Victory garden) Raising your own chickens was also common.

Becoming more self-sufficient can ensure success in even the toughest of times. It could also pave the way for monetary abundance.

Think about it, you could create an nice little home based business by growing baby lettuce. It grows fast, in a little amount of space. You can get multiple harvests form one planting. Instead of mowing your lawn you are harvesting salad for your family and neighbors. Add a small greenhouse or cold frame and you can extend your growing season.

Imagine the saved money, and the feeling of empowerment that can be the result of growing some of your own food.

“Success is a Mindset”

By adjusting to given circumstances you can create abundance in your life instead of giving into the negative feelings of lack.

By giving in to the forecasts of doom and gloom, we will only be attracting more of that into our lives.

Opportunities do exist, but it often takes the person open to success, and different ways of seeing things to take advantage of them.

Even if digging in the dirt is not your chosen path to a home based business, there are lots of ways to create an income from the comfort of home.
